Banana-Oat-Flax-Hemp-PB-Chocolate Nutrition Shake

This shake is often a go-to breakfast for me. It’s loaded with beneficial nutrients, including loads of fiber and plenty of protein. This shake sustains me for quite a long time, too.

  • 1 to 2 cups plant-based milk (soy for extra protein!)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
  • 3 tablespoons hempseeds
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter powder (or peanut butter)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • A drizzle of maple syrup or a couple of pitted dates for a touch of sweetness (optional)

Add all the ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Best when consumed immediately after making as the flaxseed becomes gelatinous if allowed to sit.
